Michelle gross one percent of you5/24/2023 ![]() The story follows Hadley (21), a woman who thought she’d be with her high school sweetheart forever. ![]() My only issues are very minor – these opposites attract in the best of ways. ![]() It’s cozy and tender most of the time with just a little bit of bite, and I had no trouble bingeing the whole way through. He’s loving and protective, broody and intense. He was determined to get his girl and make her little family his own, which was super swoon-worthy. I loved that this hero was such a sweetheart (only to the heroine and her young kids, of course!), and that he fell so hard and fast. I always love the combination of gruff, tattooed hero with a sweet single mom, and adding in the neighbors element was a definite win as well. And this was definitely a solid 4-star read. ![]() I can see why this became so popular all of a sudden – it reminded me a lot of Meet Me Halfway and The Brightest Light of Sunshine, which were both easy 5-star ratings for me. ![]()

They have a history and she’s still so attracted to him, but she gives him a chance. Posy needs a barista in the worst way but is hesitant about hiring Gunnar. ![]() They were never truly together, but they had a ton of chemistry back in the day. After reading this one, I want even more of these books- especially Max’s story! ![]() I am so excited Sarina Bowen is continuing on with The Company series. And just as soon I figure out how to make a skinny peppermint latte with milk poured in the shape of a kitten. There’s nobody more skilled at stealth ops than me. I’d forgotten how much we infuriate each other, and that she somehow fills me with both irritation and desire in the same breath. But now I have to call her “boss,” and do everything the curvy perfectionist asks of me. Going undercover as Posy’s new barista wasn’t my idea. It’s my job to identify him before he can harm a hair on her pretty head. There’s a murderer on the loose in New York, and he seems to spend a lot of time at Posy’s shop. ![]() I’m the VP of a secretive billion-dollar security company. But all she gave me was a single kiss before I had to skip town. Posy was the pampered girl I tried to impress. Growing up, I was the rough guy from the wrong neighborhood who couldn’t catch a break. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() Her parents, Don Alfonso Sanchez de Capeda and Dona Beatriz Davila y Ahumada, his second wife, were people of position in Avila, a city of Old Castile, where Teresa was born on March 28, 1515. What we are told of Teresa's early life does not sound in the least wicked, but it is plain that she was an unusually active, imaginative, and sensitive child. "The possession of virtuous parents who lived in the fear of God, together with those favors which I received from his Divine Majesty, might have made me good, if I had not been so very wicked." A heavy consciousness of sin was prevalent in sixteenth-century Spain, and we can readily discount this avowal of guilt. In the Autobiography which she completed towards the end of her life, Saint Teresa of Avila gives us a description of her parents, along with a disparaging estimate of her own character. ![]()

![]() ![]() Thirty and a Half Excuses (Rose Gardner, #3) Amazonįalling to Pieces (Rose Gardner, #3.5) Amazon Sounds complicated? YES that’s why you gotta read this. It is light-hearted, comical, naughty and VERY serious too. I made a list of them in their order with the amazon links. She works at the DMV, that alone is funny. Her boring town, lack of excitement and her truly crazy mother were only the beginning. The feeling of really being connected to a character just makes to be book a real page turner. When Rose makes a list on her Wal-Mart receipt, she does so because of her “non eventful” life. When I was reading the first few chapters, some were hard, I felt like laughing and then crying. The beginning of the book is the set-up for her Momma getting murdered. Then I will say that the main character Rose Anne Gardner pulled on my heart strings! I felt so connected to her. ![]()
